CA Substitute Teacher: Credential #210026033
Executive Function Mentor
I am Salvador Cuevas-Macias, was born in Imperial Valley, California, and raised in a bilingual and multicultural household by 2 passionate educators alongside my older and younger siblings. I graduated from San Diego State University on the Dean’s Honor List with a Dual Degrees: B.A in Psychology (Human Development) and B.S in Criminal Justice (Human Behavior) in 2011.
I am extremely passionate about education and communication to help motivate, activate, and connect students with their personal, professional, and academic goals. I have been an educator for nearly 15 years and my experiences, domestic and international, have enabled me to work with thousands of students in ALL academic levels (Pre-K to Adults), diverse cultural and social-economic backgrounds as a teacher, success coach, and/or life mentor to help them achieve success based on their aptitudes, abilities, and values.
In my personal time, I greatly enjoy reading and learning, improving my mental and physical fitness, listening to music as well as dancing to Latin Rhythms. Exploring nature with my girlfriend and traveling whenever possible along with quality family time are activities that I appreciate fully.
