Hello! My name is Kate Cusimano and I consider myself a lifelong learner. I am curious about so many things and love connecting with others to explore further together as a coach, guide, and teacher. In my free time, I love exploring out in natural spaces with my four dogs, and also love learning swimming and cooking!

I have 12 years of experience in Special Education teaching, where I specialized in behavior modification and
explicit reading intervention. I have worked in a variety of public and private school settings as well as virtual
settings; adaptability, empathetic communication, and enthusiastic I am proud to have developed while working as an collaboration are some of the character traits that educator.
I learned early in my teaching career that I love working with learners through individualized sessions wherein we learn about each other to build trust and communication. Once we’ve students has always been to establish a collaborative relationship with other members of their established a solid working relationship, we strengths to address their challenges. Furthermore, a key component
can work together to build upon the learner’s of supporting my other important
stakeholders. Knowing how educational support systems can be difficult and very passionate about guiding students and their families in support team, including parents/guardians, school based staff, related service providers, and any frustrating to navigate at times, I am understanding their unique needs in order to build self-advocacy.

My coaching practice is very much centered around supporting my learner’s ability to develop their executive functioning skills to make progress in all areas of their life. I love this work because I see how holistic it can be when my students start to feel successful and believe in their own abilities, it helps them reframe how they see themselves in many different avenues, which is ultimately empowering and builds global confidence
