Our Founding Story
Executive Function Specialists began in 2019 as a response to a clear gap: schools were not teaching the organization, time management and follow‑through skills students need to thrive. As demand surged, we quickly moved from a one‑person operation to a growing team dedicated to empowering students to take control of their learning and their lives.
Today we’re supported by an engaged community of more than 6,000 parents and educators who subscribe to our newsletter for weekly tips and strategies. We’ve also built the EFS Directory, a curated list of top support professionals, and a library of deep‑dive guides on executive‑function skills—resources that position us as a go‑to hub for families and schools.
Our leadership team brings expertise in education, psychology and business. From operations and coach training to curriculum design, each member contributes specialized skills that support our mission. Our rigorous hiring and training process—only about 1 % of applicants become EF Specialists—along with 70+ five‑star reviews, underscores the quality of our coaching.
