In this post, I’ll show you 3 ways you can help a student who is struggling with executive function skills in less than 3 minutes.

If you are reading this post, you have probably:

-Worked with an EF coach in the past and know the value of working on EF skills

Or

-Have expressed interest in getting support with EF skills, but have not taken action yet.

How this post will help you (or someone you love)

In this post, I will share with you 3 things you can do in 3 minutes or less that could significantly improve the quality of a student's life.

All you have to do is choose one of the options below. 👇

Why should you help try one of these things?

We received this lovely feedback from a client, and I think it does a fantastic job illustrating why dedicating time and energy to EF skill development matters.

What is the parent experience with executive function coaching?

If you're reading this, it's because you've experienced something similar to Carmen or you believe what happened with Carmen, can happen for your family, too.

Here is how you can make that a reality for your student or one you know...

3 ways you can help 🫶

Way #1: Share this article with them (free)

I've given away my top EF coaching secrets in a step-by-step plan in this article, "How To Have The Best Semester Yet: Create A Student Dashboard (part 1)," that will help a struggling student:

  • Create a student dashboard to track all their upcoming assignments to completion ✅

  • Masters Time Management Using Google Calendar 📅

  • Learns the Art and Science of Communicating with Teachers using templates 📧

  • Breaks Mid-Terms & Finals Into Manageable Chunks 🔨

  • And more!

All this is free and you can simply forward this email or share this link with them to help them get started.

Way #2: Gift them the Semester Success Blueprint Course (low-cost)

If you've been wanting EF coaching, but have been turned off by the cost, I've poured all my top techniques into a course called the Semester Success Blueprint.

In less than 2 hours, this comprehensive course will teach you and your student the system I developed to help hundreds of students learn how to manage school effectively and raise their self-awareness and engagement with school.

And you can gift this course to someone, by clicking the gift button and entering their email.

Way #3: Encourage them to book a no-cost EF coaching inquiry (free)

Sometimes taking the first step is the hardest step.

If you are on the fence about getting support for your student, why not set up a free meeting to meet with one of our experienced EF coaches to get some free advice?

And if you are a parent who has gone through this process, just copy and past this text and send it to someone you know who would benefit from coaching.

Hey (your friend or family member's name),

I recently tried executive function coaching for my student and it (describe how it helped your family).

I think you would get a lot of value from it and I wanted to share this link so you could learn more about it and hold a free consult if you are interested:

Hope this helps!

About Me

Hey! I'm Sean 👋

I'm a former public school special education teacher who realized that executive function skills are more important than knowing when George Washington crossed the Potomac.

Since then, I've made it my mission to teach anyone who will listen about how to develop these key life skills.

In 2020, I founded Executive Function Specialists to ensure all students with ADHD and Autism have access to high-quality online executive function coaching services. We offer online EF coaching and courses to help students and families.

Realizing I could only reach so many people through coaching, in 2021 I started the Executive Function Coaching Academy which trains schools, educators, and individuals to learn the key strategies to improve executive function skills for students.

In 2023, I co-founded of UpSkill Specialists, to provide neurodivergent adults with high-quality executive function coaching services.

When not pursuing my passions through work, I love spending time with my family, getting exercise, and expanding my brain through reading. You can connect with me on LinkedIn.
